Description
NH and NT fuse links protect cables, lines and motor circuits with a high breaking capacity in a compact device. CWNE supplies the links together with the bases and carriers, and the same fuse system is used inside the HR and NH switch disconnectors.
Range
| Parameter | Range / value |
|---|---|
| NH sizes | NH000, NH00, NH1, NH2, NH3, NH4 |
| NT sizes | NT00, NT1, NT2, NT3, NT4 |
| Characteristics | gG (cable and line protection) and aM (motor short-circuit protection) |
| Standards | IEC 60269 |
| Accessories | Fuse monitoring and signal switches |
Choosing the characteristic
- gG protects the cable against overload and short circuit, so the link rating must not exceed the corrected cable capacity.
- aM protects the motor circuit against short circuit only and is always combined with an overload relay.
Coordination with the switch
Where a link is used inside a switch disconnector, the switch and the link are selected as a matched unit: the making and breaking capacity of the switch must correspond to the link, and the fuse size must fit the carrier. This is why the CWNE switch disconnectors and links are quoted together.

FAQ
Which fuse sizes do you supply?
NH000, NH00, NH1, NH2, NH3 and NH4, plus NT00 to NT4 links.
What is the difference between gG and aM?
gG links protect cables and lines against overload and short circuit. aM links provide short-circuit protection only and are used with a separate overload relay in motor circuits.
Which standard applies?
The links are manufactured to IEC 60269.
Can I use the links in your switch disconnectors?
Yes. The same NH system is used in the HR, NH and WGLR switch disconnectors, and the switch and link are selected as a matched unit.
