FAQ
What products does CWNE manufacture?
CWNE produces a complete low-voltage range: busbar systems, circuit breakers (air, moulded case and miniature), cable branch boxes, isolating and load break switches, knife switches, fuse switch disconnectors, surge protective devices, SMC enclosures and terminal blocks.
How do I choose the right circuit breaker?
Match the breaker to the rated voltage and current of your circuit, the prospective short-circuit current at the installation point (breaking capacity), and the type of load. Use air circuit breakers for high-current incoming protection, moulded case circuit breakers for distribution and motor circuits, and miniature circuit breakers for final circuits. Where earth-leakage protection is required, choose a residual current device or RCBO.
What is the difference between an MCB, MCCB and ACB?
An MCB (miniature circuit breaker) protects final circuits at low currents. An MCCB (moulded case circuit breaker) protects distribution and motor circuits at medium currents and may offer adjustable electronic protection. An ACB (air circuit breaker) handles high currents and is typically used as a main incoming or feeder breaker, often with communication for automation systems.
When should I use a fuse switch disconnector instead of a circuit breaker?
Choose a fuse switch disconnector for high breaking capacity, clear visible isolation and precise fuse-based protection in a compact, cost-effective device. Choose a circuit breaker where resettable operation and adjustable protection matter more.
What is the difference between a Type 1 and a Type 2 surge protective device?
Type 1 (Class B) devices are installed at the main incoming board and are tested to handle partial direct lightning currents. Type 2 devices are installed downstream to limit residual overvoltages. The WN-MD is a Class B (Type 1) surge protective device.
Which standards do the products comply with?
Products are manufactured to the relevant IEC and GB standards, for example IEC 60947 for switchgear and controlgear, IEC 60898 for miniature circuit breakers and IEC 61643 for surge protective devices, and hold China Compulsory Certification (CCC). Specific standards are listed on each product page.
Do you offer OEM, ODM and custom products?
Yes. We can develop and produce special types and specifications, or build to your samples, drawings and technical requirements. OEM and ODM cooperation is welcome.
Can the products be used in renewable energy or data centre projects?
Yes. Low-voltage protection, isolation and surge protection devices are widely used in photovoltaic, energy storage, data centre and industrial automation projects. Share your application and we will recommend a suitable configuration.
How do I get a quotation or contact CWNE?
Use the inquiry form on any product page or the contact form on our Contact Us page. To quote accurately, please share the product type and model, rated voltage and current, quantity, required standards or certifications, destination country and any special requirements.
